3rd Amington Brownies enjoyed their traditional pack holiday of 2 nights away at the weekend. Brownies all slept in their own tents around the indoor campfire. This is a great achievement for some girls as it was their first time away from home.
They helped in the kitchen making eggy bread , cutting up vegetables and fruit as well as baking their own bread roll and smores over a tealight.
The brownies also helped with the chores and kept their own ‘bedrooms’ tidy. There were lots of games, free time and crafts for everyone to enjoy.
Over the weekend, the smiles and the laughter is why we volunteers love Girlguiding.
